Exercise , Tutorials
Let's get something straight right away: I hate exercise. I super hate it.

But if you give me some exercises with a nerdy theme like "Running with The Doctor" or "The Spider-Man Work Out," I'm going to give it a try.

Gimmicks aside, the site does an excellent job illustrating exercises and provides you with a some really fantastic strength training regimens. Each workout has it's own sheet (which you can print out to keep around the house) that's simply put together. Just a black sketch on a white background, with some red text. Aesthetically pleasing and simple.

There's even a work out for lazy slobs like me to during commercial breaks, providing me with no excuse to avoid exercise.

Thanks Neila Rey, for making it so I won't have to have the jaws of life pry me from my sofa.

While I really love this site, I think I'm in the minority who don't enjoy the layout. Something about all the white space just really irks me.

That being said, great source for all things geek culture. Can easily lose a daily stumbling through this site.

When you're barely able to rub two nickels together, Groupon saves the day. From gifts for friends, to getting a hair cut, to getting a dental exam for us shmucks who don't have dental...this site can save your butt!

Downside: I have found that sometimes my services aren't as great as if I am a full paying customer. That's not Groupon's fault, but poor practice on the business' end. So just be aware that sometimes you do get what you pay for :-/

I adore this site!

I've bought from them a lot and have always been happy with my purchases.

The clothes are described to a tee, making it easy to order online without any dread of ordering the wrong size. The kitchen items? Adorable! I bought canisters and salt and pepper shakers from them and get tons of compliments on them! I love that their items are just as functional as they are cute.

I've never had to make a return, so I haven't dealt dealt with support much, but that being said they always deliver promptly ad are great with email notifications about your purchases.

Only thing I don't like is that there's so many items on a page, that it can be overwhelming at times. But that's just a little thing.

Revolutions

This history podcast is the work of Mike Duncan, who wrote and narrated the epic 'History of Rome' podcast.

So far he has covered the English (very good), American (excellent) and French (very good) revolutions. All in lots of detail, from the 'seeds of change' that led up to th...

I heartily agree with the reviews on this podcast series left so far by other listeners. I've not yet listened to Mike Duncan's History of Rome podcast (though I'm now inspired to do so), but the History of Byzantium podcast is a tour de force from Robin. He has done a sterling and balanced job...

I have found the History of English podcast absolutely riveting; in fact, I 'binged- listened' my way through the first 100 or so episodes, and am very relieved that there are clearly many more to come :-). History via etymology - a great concept, well-delivered by Kevin. Highly recommended.
