How has no-one reviewed Google yet?

This site is a lifesaver and vastly better than its competitors. Google often ensures more accurate and relevant search results, has an integrate mail client and social network (Google Plus) and is consistently quick. It works brilliantly on mobile devices, often the default on modern models and the company’s experience shows in the quality of their products.

If there’s something you need to know, Google is almost guaranteed to give you the answers you’re looking for within the first page of results, saving you time and adding to your knowledge.

There’s a reason ‘Google it’ is such a popular saying.

Tumblr

Tumblr

http://www.tumblr.com

Blogs , Microblogging
Tumblr began as a blogging site for sharing photos, links and videos from around the web, but as its popularity has increased, it has become so much more than that.

Tumblr has gained recognition for the sheer number of posts focusing on current events, such as the Ferguson unrest, feminism, LGBTQIA rights and politics. Due to the number of people using Tumblr for their own interests, this important information is being made accessible to a wider audience, who may not have the access or capacity to learn about such things through mainstream news, due to geographical restrictions, age or culture. As a result, Tumblr is a place where everyone is supported and accepted, with members often posting objective, informed posts on various matters.

On a lighter note, it’s an amazing place for fans of movies, TV shows, books or games to communicate with others who share their admiration. Known as ‘fandoms’, these people discuss storylines, their own ideas, share videos, imagery – anything they want, ensuring fans feel like they’re not alone with their obsession. Occasionally, things get a little out of control, with the relentless trend of ‘shipping’ and ‘OTPs’, but the amount of users engaging in these discussions is outstanding.

Yes it sounds silly, but can something that has created such a strong online community really be so terrible? Long live Tumblr.

HelloGiggles

HelloGiggles

http://www.HelloGiggles.com

Women , News
With her ‘adorkable’ style and comedic talent, Zooey Deschanel has rapidly become a household name. Whether you’ve fallen for her charm or fail to see the appeal, she’s here to stay, and with the help of her two friends Sophia Rossi and Molly McAleer, she’s created Hello Giggles in addition to her acting career.

The site is aesthetically pleasing for any fan of the ‘quirky’ style, with colourful icons and charming fonts. The blog focuses on a positive attitude, healthy eating, happy relationships and fun things to do, making it a great influence for those looking to inject a little happiness into their daily blog reading.

HG is another modern example of how the internet is replacing print media, giving the effect of a digital magazine aimed at today’s women.

LGBT , Entertainment
Described as ‘the pop culture site that plays for your team’, After Ellen focuses on popular culture from a lesbian and bisexual perspective, including TV and movies, music, literature, celebrities, sex and dating.

The articles are light-hearted and entertaining, often based on trends of the moment, such as their coverage of current shows, for example ‘Faking It’, as well as bringing attention to independent works, keeping their content on trend and attracting viewers who like to stay up to date on culture and media.

It’s a reliable, fun source for those who find mainstream blogs often exclude the LGBT community or women. AfterEllen features absolutely zero judgement as all contributors are like-minded and positive.

The site also features a forum for users to meet people with common interests and discuss all kinds of fun topics.

About.com

About.com

http://www.about.com

Reference , Search Engines
About.com lives up to its name, telling you about absolutely anything you’re looking for. Upon visiting the homepage, you’ll be faced with trending articles, ranging from lifestyle to finance to fashion, plus neatly categorised sections offering tips on the home, food, health, style, money, careers, technology, education and travel, so it’s likely there’s something you’re interested in reading about.

The articles are written by a vast range of contributors, all knowledgeable in their respective fields, allowing them to publish the best advice and information that’ll help you expand your understanding of a particular topic.
The articles range from serious and cutting-edge to fun and playful, offering something for every mood, and you may find yourself stumbling across articles you never knew you needed, for example “6 Holiday Hazards to Watch Out For”. Who knew a Christmas Tree could be so perilous?

About.com often appears in Google searches while looking for recipes or how-to articles, proving its popularity. It's well laid out and in my experience, it's been easy to find relevant information, whether I'm browsing a general topic or searching for specific advice.

I’d recommend the site completely, as it’s a great, free source of information.

Strange decision to use Comic Sans as the font for the titles of the website headings.

I could not find a way to navigate away from the homepage to any deeper links with more information. One would expect that the left skyscraper section would be hotlinked to more examples.

I like this company. Their professional staff and advisers always provide quality services. Booking and related to it processes take not more than several business days, that's why I can consult them right before my trips. Recommend it!

I'm really glad that my friends advised me contacting Aufgang when I was looking for an agency to travel to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem with. My Aufgang adviser quickly set up a good trip for me and they even helped me throughout the whole travel.
