The Yoga Scene

Health & Fitness , Events

Breathe and unwind with friends and new acquaintances outside of the traditional yoga studio.

The Yoga Scene is where you breathe and unwind with friends and new acquaintances. Outside of the traditional yoga studio, enjoy yoga classes in parks, beaches, rooftop bars or your own backyard.

Founded by yoga teacher Richelle Mathieu (RYT 200), The Yoga Scene was created to bring together the love of yoga, meeting people and having fun. Enjoy traditional yoga classes and yoga events in non-traditional settings.

In many traditional yoga settings, yogis practice and then immediately leave. The individual practice of yoga often inhibits the bonding among yoga community members. Now, two worlds meet when yogis and other community members meet and build friendships. Friends practice yoga and then hang around to socialize.

1) Does what its supposed to do. A quick overview and source/links to the biggest things happening that day in respective categories.
2) Ability to change themes or colour would be nice but other than that, just a regular minimalistic design.
3)Easy as point and click

Such a fantastic podcast!
Duncan has a knack for narrative history, taking all the disparate stories and facts and weaving it all together into a story that's fun and engaging.
It's also very well researched.
Would highly recommend to anyone with an interest in history.

I think the site looks dull now. I hope it evolves into more modern design. And also consider user experience.

I heartily agree with the reviews on this podcast series left so far by other listeners. I've not yet listened to Mike Duncan's History of Rome podcast (though I'm now inspired to do so), but the History of Byzantium podcast is a tour de force from Robin. He has done a sterling and balanced job...

I have found the History of English podcast absolutely riveting; in fact, I 'binged- listened' my way through the first 100 or so episodes, and am very relieved that there are clearly many more to come :-). History via etymology - a great concept, well-delivered by Kevin. Highly recommended.
