StumbleUpon is a discovery engine (a form of web search engine) that finds and recommends web content to its users. Its features allow users to discover and rate Web pages, photos, and videos that are personalized to their tastes and interests using peer-sourcing and social-networking principles. Toolbar versions exist for Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, Internet Explorer, and Safari. StumbleUpon also works with some independent Mozilla-based browsers. StumbleUpon was founded in November 2002[7] by Garrett Camp, Geoff Smith, Justin LaFrance and Eric Boyd during Garrett's time in post-graduate school in Calgary, Canada. The idea of creating a company was established before the content: of the five or six ideas for products, StumbleUpon was chosen. Garrett describes in a BBC interview the moment for him in which he felt the company had really taken off: "When we passed the half a million mark (in registered users), it seemed more real."

One of my favorite time-wasting services. All you need to do is sign up, install the tool bar, and away you go. Hit the stumble button and it'll lead you to a random nook in the shambolic mess that we call the internet.

As an added bonus, you can go into the settings so that you're sent to websites that cater to your interests. Into news? You can do that. How about web games? Yeah, man, you can do that, too. Into modern science? Hell yeah, bro, they got that!

So download it. Especially if you're avoiding the inevitability of having to complete even the simplest of tasks.

You'll never do another thing again.

StumbleUpon is a great way to kill time and find new and interesting stuff online. You can customize it by specifying things that you like to make it more personalized for your tastes. Some sites it comes up with for you are boring, but a lot of them are neat to waste a few minutes on at least, and I usually end up bookmarking 10-15 sites to come back to later before I'm done using the site. It's easy to use and fun.

I'm a cord cutter and love hulu. They do a great job of providing up to date programming for most shows and the service is quite reliable. Their original programming isn't quite as good as their competitors, but pretty darn close. My main gripes are, 1) No CBS of CW shows, so I have to use differ...

So, there isn't much to be said other than subscribing to Netflix is almost a necessity if you enjoy television. Their original programming is amazing and they have a great backlog of older television shows and some movies. The only thing I am disappointed about is that their movie selection is s...

I have been a GQ magazine reader for years and their website has just as high quality as the print publication. Now, specifically, they are doing a great job covering the 2017 political climate in a fair and unbiased way.

Good follow up to the History of Rome. Clear Narrative, I like that he generally sticks to mid-length episodes, but alters the length when needed.
