I've seriously never even come close to getting a job from this site.

Do I blame that solely on my extreme un-hirability? No. That's not my fault, that's society's.

The only reason I'm even on there is because I don't want people to know I'm not working, so I kinda just fudge the finer details...mine says I'm CEO of Google. And I changed my name to "Steven Google" to make it way more believable.

I also don't like that people can see when I look at their pages because that totally defeats the purpose of social media.

In conclusion: only people who shouldn't be hired use this site. Get a job, hippy.

You make a profile, which is similar to a resume, connect to professionals you might know in one way or another and then hope the profile comes in handy when looking for a job. I have a profile because supposedly some employers look for a Linkedin page...
But honestly I don't find the site to be useful or informative. The only time I would even bother using it is if I were looking for a new job.

Honestly, wasn't aware that people were still using this site. Thought it had gone the way of MySpace.

To have an impressive profile, you'd want to make it while you are an employed professional. The effort required is minimal, and if it were a deciding factor in getting a future job, it would be worth it.

However, it doesn't feel particularly useful.
Just set it up and forget about it.

Strange decision to use Comic Sans as the font for the titles of the website headings.

I could not find a way to navigate away from the homepage to any deeper links with more information. One would expect that the left skyscraper section would be hotlinked to more examples.

One of the very few politics sites on the internet that is truly unbiased and is not pushing neither a right or a left-wing agenda.

It is a fantastic compendium, compiled twice daily - once in the morning and once in the afternoon - of all the news that is worth reading - in a read...

BuzzFeed

Born as a clickbait, arbitrage website completely devoid of any substance or content - it somehow took that concept and made it worse.

Buzzfeed is known as the laughingstock of the internet, for its truly vile cesspool of social justice warriors, for its overly dramatic authoritari...

A heavily biased so-called "news" resource - HuffPo is hypocritical in nearly every possible aspect. It preaches equality and diversity, and yet it's boardroom is nearly completely composed of white women. It claims to be strongly for diversity, and yet it practices no diversity of thought whatso...
