America is full of tales waiting to be told. There are beautiful stories hiding in small towns and big cities, on suburban streets and rural roads. Great wisdom lives in the well-worked hands of aging craftspeople and in the eager words of young artisans. Our very history is whispered into the materials they use to make exquisite goods according to timeless standards of quality and care. That is the tradition we aim to preserve.

How wonderful it is to discover something that has been cast aside, to pick it up and restore it to its original beauty. Maybe it’s sentimental of us, but we hold fast to memories and moments, to relics from bygone eras. Our goal is to support the America we’ve always known, and the one we haven’t yet met. We hope to achieve this in small but meaningful ways, through the stories we tell, the treasures we share and our genuine desire to give back to those with fewer opportunities but just as much heart and soul as anyone else. We believe that nurturing a better tomorrow upholds the yesterday we cherish, for all of us.

Sometimes we walk proudly. Other times we stumble gracelessly. Yet we take each step with a generous measure of never-ending curiosity and wonder. We remain in awe of the folks and folkways existing around us. We want to learn about them, embrace them…preserve them.

PRESERVE is all of us, together, championing the goods, makers and legends that instill meaning inside the moments of our lives. The curios that cozy our homes, the threads that define our silhouettes, the foods that leave our bellies happy, the projects that mean everything to us—we want to share all of this with you; we know we have so much to learn from you. In our ongoing quest for knowledge, these are our PRESERVE passions…

Blake Lively may be known more for her acting or her marriage to Ryan Reynolds, but she’s recently proved herself to be a younger, hipster version of Martha Stewart.

Described by Vogue as a “part digital monthly magazine, part e-commerce venture, part video blog” combination, Preserve offers lifestyle articles, updates and an online store selling treasures picked out by the Preserve team and curated by Blake, such as clothing, unique home furnishings and gourmet treats ranging from artisan salt to organic hot cocoa.

Preserve focuses on the ‘greater good’ and although they are a for-profit company, they aim to provide 5000 children with meals, 2000 children with blankets and 2700 children with warm hoodies within the US.

While the site may have been slated by journalists to begin with, I’m a fan. The authentic aesthetic is refreshing in a world overtaken by technology and mass marketing, showing how home cooking, outdoor adventures and helping those less fortunate can still be a vital part of our culture.

Ticketvibe is dishonest in their advertising for events, they will rip you off. Their site is also not very good, it's cluttered and difficult to navigate at times.

A pretty busy homepage with a lot of content on it but with nicely designed top navigation. The footer is similarly well-designed and leads the user to not be overwhelmed despite the great amount of content present on the site.

I would consider reducing the amount of options on the...

A very minimal landing page which looks a little too simple to inspire confidence and trust in the user.

The top links when they do work, remove the header links and do not allow the user to navigate back to the home page without refreshing. The About, Press, and Privacy links all...

Generally, a good looking site but is a little overwhelming with the sheer amount of content on it.

The landing image itself with its great number of content is a little overwhelming to the eye and this experience only increases as one scrolls down further down the page.
