Homestar Runner is a Flash-animated Internet cartoon series. It mixes surreal humor with references to retro pop culture, video games, classic television, and popular music.

The cartoons were originally centered on the title character, Homestar Runner. However, a series entitled Strong Bad Email or sbemail, in which another main character, Strong Bad, answers emails from viewers, became the most popular and prominent feature of the site. While Homestar and Strong Bad are the main characters, the site has grown to encompass dozens of other characters over the years.

The site is one of the most-visited sites with collections of Flash cartoons on the Internet and is notable for its refusal to sell advertising space (the creators pay for everything through merchandise sales, which includes a line of T-shirts). The owners of the website have turned down offers to make a television series.

The site's popularity spread via word of mouth. Beginning in 2010, updates stopped on the site, save for an "April Fools Day" cartoon released in 2014. However, in July, 2014, co-creator Matt Chapman announced that the site will soon begin receiving semi-regular updates, thanks to positive reception to the "April Fools" day cartoon.

I LOVE HOMESTAR RUNNER!!! So much fun, and it totally blazed the trail for online shorts, cartoons, webseries. It is one of the first and it is done so well, I highly recommend visiting this site. I gave service/support four stars cause they went off the grid for a few years, and that bummed me out. BUT it is heart warming and easy to get sucked into.

I'm a cord cutter and love hulu. They do a great job of providing up to date programming for most shows and the service is quite reliable. Their original programming isn't quite as good as their competitors, but pretty darn close. My main gripes are, 1) No CBS of CW shows, so I have to use differ...

So, there isn't much to be said other than subscribing to Netflix is almost a necessity if you enjoy television. Their original programming is amazing and they have a great backlog of older television shows and some movies. The only thing I am disappointed about is that their movie selection is s...

I have been a GQ magazine reader for years and their website has just as high quality as the print publication. Now, specifically, they are doing a great job covering the 2017 political climate in a fair and unbiased way.

Good follow up to the History of Rome. Clear Narrative, I like that he generally sticks to mid-length episodes, but alters the length when needed.
