I first discovered IFL Science through their Facebook page, which currently boasts over nineteen million ‘likes’ and posts regular science-related articles in a fun, journalistic manner. Describing their content as ‘the lighter side of science’, you don’t need a PHD to enjoy the comprehensive, entertaining and educational facts and trivia posted by the IFL Science team.

The site is easy to navigate, featuring a blog layout and allowing you to choose your subject of interest, including technology, physics and space to name a few.

Whilst plenty of trivia is posted, IFLS posts content based on current events in the world of science, such as the Ebola virus or NASA’s plans to send astronauts to Mars within the next twenty years, keeping you informed on the way scientific progress affects the world we live in.

A must-visit for anyone interested in science, technology or current events.

Such a fantastic podcast!
Duncan has a knack for narrative history, taking all the disparate stories and facts and weaving it all together into a story that's fun and engaging.
It's also very well researched.
Would highly recommend to anyone with an interest in history.

I think the site looks dull now. I hope it evolves into more modern design. And also consider user experience.

I heartily agree with the reviews on this podcast series left so far by other listeners. I've not yet listened to Mike Duncan's History of Rome podcast (though I'm now inspired to do so), but the History of Byzantium podcast is a tour de force from Robin. He has done a sterling and balanced job...

I have found the History of English podcast absolutely riveting; in fact, I 'binged- listened' my way through the first 100 or so episodes, and am very relieved that there are clearly many more to come :-). History via etymology - a great concept, well-delivered by Kevin. Highly recommended.
