Film & Television , Event Tickets

Fandango is a corporation in the United States that sells movie tickets via telephone and Internet. Fandango charges a premium to use its services, ranging from 75 to $2.00 (the additional surcharge for phone orders), which reserves a ticket to be printed out upon arrival at a movie theater, thereby avoiding lines. Initially, seating was promised for sold-out shows, but this feature was discontinued for most theaters, as not all were equipped to handle reserved seating and will call lines. With ticket prices in many areas exceeding US$10.00, purchasing tickets through Fandango and other ticketing websites can make movie-going an expensive proposition; however, procuring tickets to movies on their opening days by conventional means may be inconvenient, difficult, and at times impossible (especially in large metropolitan areas) without utilizing services like Fandango. Fandango's website also offers exclusive film clips, trailers, celebrity interviews, reviews by users, movie descriptions, and some web-based games.

I use Fandango all the time. I think it is super helpful to have everything listed in one place and by zip codes. That being said, you can't buy tickets from their site for some of my favorite theaters. What's up with that? Those theaters say it is because Fandango makes a lot of mistakes, though that has never been my experience. But I took a couple of stars off for Functionality because of that gap. And one star off Aesthetics because I don't like orange. It's garish. Unless it's hip. But here it's just garish.

Anyway, I do recommend Fandango for the theaters it serves.

Except for the orange. Which is ugly. And garish.

I personally don't think we need a middle man to sell us movie tickets. Why not go to the theatre and just buy them?

That said, the few times I have purchased tickets through Fandango I've had no complaints about their service. And I will admit it is nice to purchase the tickets online a few hours ahead of time and know that I have a seat.

I'm a cord cutter and love hulu. They do a great job of providing up to date programming for most shows and the service is quite reliable. Their original programming isn't quite as good as their competitors, but pretty darn close. My main gripes are, 1) No CBS of CW shows, so I have to use differ...

So, there isn't much to be said other than subscribing to Netflix is almost a necessity if you enjoy television. Their original programming is amazing and they have a great backlog of older television shows and some movies. The only thing I am disappointed about is that their movie selection is s...

I have been a GQ magazine reader for years and their website has just as high quality as the print publication. Now, specifically, they are doing a great job covering the 2017 political climate in a fair and unbiased way.

Good follow up to the History of Rome. Clear Narrative, I like that he generally sticks to mid-length episodes, but alters the length when needed.
