Exercise , Tutorials

On my stream I share fitness and personal development related content but I also post fun stuff because I believe that laughing daily is just as important as keeping physically and mentally fit.

I do a lot of running, circuit and bodyweight training and, occasionally, some bag work. I believe in being versatile that way as much as being open to new experiences and new information. I design workouts and put together easy-to-follow training programs - my aim is to make fitness accessible and fun for everyone, including myself.

I am very passionate about my work although in person I am somewhat goofy and awkward, like Scrat from Ice Age. I love all things tech, video games, superheroes and science fiction in every shape and form. My two favourite books are Dune by Frank Herbert and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams.

Let's get something straight right away: I hate exercise. I super hate it.

But if you give me some exercises with a nerdy theme like "Running with The Doctor" or "The Spider-Man Work Out," I'm going to give it a try.

Gimmicks aside, the site does an excellent job illustrating exercises and provides you with a some really fantastic strength training regimens. Each workout has it's own sheet (which you can print out to keep around the house) that's simply put together. Just a black sketch on a white background, with some red text. Aesthetically pleasing and simple.

There's even a work out for lazy slobs like me to during commercial breaks, providing me with no excuse to avoid exercise.

Thanks Neila Rey, for making it so I won't have to have the jaws of life pry me from my sofa.

This history podcast is the work of Mike Duncan, who wrote and narrated the epic 'History of Rome' podcast.

So far he has covered the English (very good), American (excellent) and French (very good) revolutions. All in lots of detail, from the 'seeds of change' that led up to th...

Such a fantastic podcast!
Duncan has a knack for narrative history, taking all the disparate stories and facts and weaving it all together into a story that's fun and engaging.
It's also very well researched.
Would highly recommend to anyone with an interest in history.

I think the site looks dull now. I hope it evolves into more modern design. And also consider user experience.

I heartily agree with the reviews on this podcast series left so far by other listeners. I've not yet listened to Mike Duncan's History of Rome podcast (though I'm now inspired to do so), but the History of Byzantium podcast is a tour de force from Robin. He has done a sterling and balanced job...

I have found the History of English podcast absolutely riveting; in fact, I 'binged- listened' my way through the first 100 or so episodes, and am very relieved that there are clearly many more to come :-). History via etymology - a great concept, well-delivered by Kevin. Highly recommended.
