If I could rate this zero stars, I would.

I was planning a special night with my man, and thought, "why not change things up?"

I picked up a cosmo at my local newsstand, and took it home, poured a glass of wine, and started taking notes on how to "Spice things up in the bedroom"

Turns out, popping a handful of pop rocks in your mouth before going downtown on your man is not only extremely painful for both parties, but can cause a very violent reaction that landed us in the ER at 2 am.

They declined to pay our medical bills.

FINALLY! I can learn how to please a man!

Thank goodness this site can guide me through giving the perfect blow job (an ever changing art form), do my hair in a pleasing just-rolled-out-of-bed fashion that will only take me an hour, figure out how to lose weight BECAUSENOONEWILLLOVEMEWITHTHESELASTFIVEPOUNDS, and read a compelling article about a celebrity of great stature; like a Kardashian or one of the Pretty Little Liars.

All wrapped up nicely with an excerpt from a romance novel and a horrifying account of being roofied or a near death experience. Wow.

What. A. Page turner.

If you'll excuse me, I need to get off the computer before a man learns that I have internet access.

Cosmopolitan is alright and all, but I try to stay away from it because it reminds me of middle school- I was always reading Cosmo and trying to be cool and it never seemed to work. There was one time when I went to a Mary-Kay makeover with my mother and we played one of those games where the leader lists items like "a pencil", "hand lotion", "a compact mirror", and you look in your purse and whoever has the most items wins. Well, I didn't even have a purse. Clearly, I was the loser. And every time I take a cosmopolitan quiz, I feel like I'm back in that room, the loser without a purse, because I never have the right things in my purse, I never have the right answers. "If the guy you're seeing hasn't responded after three texts, should you text again?" I keep trying to remember that the answer to that question is "no", but I just can't seem to get it.

Strange decision to use Comic Sans as the font for the titles of the website headings.

I could not find a way to navigate away from the homepage to any deeper links with more information. One would expect that the left skyscraper section would be hotlinked to more examples.

One of the very few politics sites on the internet that is truly unbiased and is not pushing neither a right or a left-wing agenda.

It is a fantastic compendium, compiled twice daily - once in the morning and once in the afternoon - of all the news that is worth reading - in a read...

BuzzFeed

BuzzFeed

by tvanstee

Born as a clickbait, arbitrage website completely devoid of any substance or content - it somehow took that concept and made it worse.

Buzzfeed is known as the laughingstock of the internet, for its truly vile cesspool of social justice warriors, for its overly dramatic authoritari...

The Huffington Post

The Huffington Post

A heavily biased so-called "news" resource - HuffPo is hypocritical in nearly every possible aspect. It preaches equality and diversity, and yet it's boardroom is nearly completely composed of white women. It claims to be strongly for diversity, and yet it practices no diversity of thought whatso...

Cracked

Cracked

Once one of my favorite sites to navigate, learn useless trivia, and waste hours on - Cracked has gradually descended into clickbait, heavy politicized liberal slam pieces, and generally has grown more and more akin to Buzzfeed in recent years.

The interesting thing is that althoug...
