Hugo's Restaurant

http://hugosrestaurant.com

Food , Restaurants

Hugo’s Restaurant was built on founder Terry Kaplan's vision which included “a kitchen producing original and wonderful foods found nowhere else” and "a compelling and exciting thought...to have a family of co-workers who cared for each other in a genuine way. They would experience support, respect and feelings of well being. That would be the true heart and soul, the inspiring element" of Hugo's. Little did Terry know that the idea of infusing "well being" into a business would be...

Triumph Dining

Eating gluten-free in restaurants can be tough. Menus rarely list every ingredient in a dish. Food preparation happens behind closed doors. And cross-contamination is a constant risk. There are so many great gluten free restaurants and menu options out there, and we believe it's a shame when any of us fe...

Dear Travelzoo,

This is a love letter. Are you beautiful? Mmmm... you're pretty but let's not be hyperbolic and say you're gorgeous. I mean, you're definitely not fugly or anything! (4 stars!) You could try a little harder but we all know that it's what's on the inside that counts....

Such a fantastic podcast!
Duncan has a knack for narrative history, taking all the disparate stories and facts and weaving it all together into a story that's fun and engaging.
It's also very well researched.
Would highly recommend to anyone with an interest in history.

I think the site looks dull now. I hope it evolves into more modern design. And also consider user experience.

I heartily agree with the reviews on this podcast series left so far by other listeners. I've not yet listened to Mike Duncan's History of Rome podcast (though I'm now inspired to do so), but the History of Byzantium podcast is a tour de force from Robin. He has done a sterling and balanced job...

I have found the History of English podcast absolutely riveting; in fact, I 'binged- listened' my way through the first 100 or so episodes, and am very relieved that there are clearly many more to come :-). History via etymology - a great concept, well-delivered by Kevin. Highly recommended.
